Actress Shraddha Kapoor’s Brother Siddhanth Kapoor Has Been Arrested For Drug Abuse In Bengaluru
Siddhanth Kapoor, the brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor and the son of Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor, was one of five persons detained by Bengaluru police on Sunday, June 12 for allegedly taking drugs during a party hosted in the city.
According to the police, a midnight raid was conducted at a five-star hotel in Bengaluru where drugs were allegedly being consumed.
Thirty-five persons at the party were given a blood test, and five of them, including Siddhanth, tested positive for drug use.
The raided party took place on Bengaluru’s MG Road in a five-star hotel. After receiving a tip, Bengaluru police raided the hotel, and it was determined that drugs were being used.
One of the five people whose samples were also found to be positive for drug use was Siddhanth Kapoor. Everyone who was caught with narcotics in their system was taken to the Ulsoor police station.
A case has been filed under the NDPS Act, according to the police. The other four men being held by the police are all techies, according to sources.
It’s unknown if the narcotics were consumed at the party or later in a hotel room.
Shraddha Kapoor’s brother and Bollywood actress Shakti Kapoor’s son is Siddhanth Kapoor. Siddhanth, 37, has appeared in films such as Bhool Bhulaiyya, Bhagam Bhaag, and Judwaa as well as playing in Ugly, Haseena Parkar, and Shootout at Wadala as an assistant director.
His sister Shraddha Kapoor was one of the celebrities questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s murder in a narcotics case in 2020.
