Drake Announces New Album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’

Drake’s seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, has been released. On Thursday afternoon, the rapper announced that his new album, Honestly, Nevermind, will be released at midnight.


“HONESTLY, NEVERMIND,” the rapper’s seventh studio album, will be released at midnight, he announced alongside a photo of the album’s cover art, which has a black screen with silver gothic letters and a little rainbow drop shadow.

Certified Lover Boy, his last album, was released in September and included songs like “Knife Talk” with 21 Savage and Project Pat, “Way 2 Sexy” with Future and Young Thug, and “Fair Trade” with Travis Scott.

For quite some time, Drake has been hinting at the release of a new album. Over the last two months, the rapper has been uploading Instagram Stories of himself working his magic in the studio.

The new album joins a lengthy history of highly anticipated studio albums, including Scorpion, which was released in 2018, Views, which was released in 2016, and Nothing Was the Same, which was released in 2013.

Drake was most recently heard on Jack Harlow’s song “Churchill Downs.”
