On Friday, Justin Bieber, a well-known pop singer, announced on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with a virus that has paralysed half of his face.
Due to his illness, the singer had to cancel some scheduled gigs in order to focus on his recovery.
In an Instagram video, Bieber stated that he had Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which affects nerves in his ear and face.
He stated that his right eye was not blinking, and he went on to explain that his left eye was blinking “I’m unable to grin on this side of my face. This nostril cannot be moved. As a result, this side of my face has become completely paralysed.”
Due to his physical condition, Bieber, 28, claimed he would be unable to perform at his next shows, but that he was doing facial exercises and expected to recover. “It will get back to normal,” he said. “It’s only a matter of time, and we have no idea how much time we have.”
