Currently in production is the Bollywood adaptation of the well-known Tamil film Vikram Vedha, which featured Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.
Pushkar and Gayathri are the directors of the Hindi adaptation, while Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan also have significant roles.
Rumors and media reports claim that Hrithik Roshan requested that the filming location for the upcoming movie be changed from Uttar Pradesh to Dubai.
In order to explain the situation, the producers released a statement.
About July 4, the project’s financier Reliance Entertainment issued the following statement: “We have been noticing a lot of incorrect and completely fraudulent information on ‘Vikram Vedha’ shooting locations.
We firmly believe that the majority of the Vikram Vedha was composed in India, specifically Lucknow. A portion of the movie was shot in the United Arab Emirates in October and November of 2021 because it was the only location with the infrastructure for a bio-bubble that could accommodate a crew of this size and allowed for the construction of sets in a studio during the months before the shoot,” the statement continued.
Because we were worried about protocol and our health, we made that decision. Any effort to deny these facts is false and obviously malicious.
The producers continued, “We would also like to emphasise that at Reliance Entertainment, while we welcome creative talent’s input, the choices about production and budgeting are made at a central location. In Vikram Vedha, a daring policeman embarks on a mission to find and pursue a dangerous mafia.
The Indian folktale “Vikram aur Betal” served as its inspiration. Along with Radhika Apte, who also plays a significant role, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the key roles.
The Vikram Vedha Hindi remake is being produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios. Filming will start in October 2021.
