Kangana Says Aamir ‘Organized’ Laal Singh Chaddha Negativity
Aamir Khan and his next film Laal Singh Chaddha continue to face backlash and now Kangana Ranaut has claimed that the actor has “retained” the negativity.
The film is set to be released on August 11, 2022, but it received heavy criticism for many reasons.
To be a remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump to the casting choices, many slammed Laal Singh Chaddha and even called for a boycott of the film.
But according to Kangana, she claims the negativity is actually a ploy by Aamir, calling him the “mastermind”.
In an Instagram Story, Kangana wrote:
“I think all the negativity around the upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha is expertly curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself.
“This year, no Hindi films worked (except for a comedy sequel), only southern films with deep roots in Indian culture or local flavor worked.
“A Hollywood remake wouldn’t have worked anyway.”
In India, many Bollywood films have failed at the box office. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Gangubai Kathiawadi are just two exceptions.
Kangana continued, “But now they will call India intolerant, Hindi films have to understand the pulse of the audience, it’s not about being Hindu or Muslim.
“Even after Aamir Khan ji became Hinduphobic PACK or called Intolerant India, he gave the greatest hits of his life.
“Please stop talking about religion or ideology. It takes away their bad acting and bad movies.
Boycott calls Laal Singh Chaddha were so important that Aamir Khan reacted and urged people to watch the film.
He said: “I am sad that some people who say this, in their hearts, believe that I am someone who does not like India.
“But that’s not true. It’s kind of a shame that some people feel that way. That’s not the case.
“Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my movie.
Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.
It will also mark the Bollywood debut of southern superstar Naga Chaitanya.
The film is out on August 11, which will see it rival Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan At the box office.
