SS Rajamouli is the only person capable of presenting a story on the big screen with grandeur, extravagance and panache. The director has provided the audience with entertaining movies, like Chatrapathi, Magadheera and Eega. But with the TV series Baahubali, in which Prabhas and Rana Daggubati played prominent roles, he became a global sensation.
Then Rajamouli’s next film, RRR, broke all previous records and brought the whole world to a complete stop. The film, which stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, is a fictionalized portrayal of two valiant freedom fighters. Among the extended cast of the film are Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran.
According to the most recent reports, RRR broke Prabhas’ record at the Japanese box office by debuting with a big number. Sacnilk.com reports that the film earned $18 million in Japanese currency, or around Rs. 1.06 crore. It overtook Saaho, along with Prabhas, which had made Rs 90 lakh on its first day of release. Over the weekend, the film is expected to gross 3.5 crores.
The popular film was first released in theaters in Japan on Friday, October 21. Right from the start, her Japanese fans responded thunderously. Ram Charan expressed his gratitude for their love and support for the RRR movie. At the rally, he was heard saying, “You are so warm that I feel like I am in India. I wish every actor in the world to experience love and warmth. I can see so many emotions in this room, which makes me emotional, it’s so heartwarming and so grateful. I will never be able to forget this moment. They say you run out of words when you’re emotional and right now I don’t have enough words to express my emotions here. I will take that love of Japan, humility, honesty and respect that you all give to other human beings.
