The reissue of Rebel with Baahubali actor Prabhas fails at the box office with low occupancy? Reasons inside

As Prabhas turns 43 in a few days, his film “Rebel” was re-released in theaters on October 15, originally released in 2012. Beloved by his fans across India, he created his popularity with films like Bahhubali, Mirchi Action Jackson, Saho. Rebel Re-release did not do well at the box office.

The performance was not appreciated by many and failed to create a positive effect. Big B turned 80 on October 11 and his movies like Deewar, Kaala Patthar and Namak Halaal were arranged in some of the country’s theaters, which did well, unlike Rebel.

According to Tracktollywood.com, with the exception of 5-6 shows, all of its shows result in poor occupancy and early bookings. Fans showed no enthusiasm, possibly because they believe it was the actor’s back-to-back misses that led to an extremely low base.

Prabhas star Billa will be released on his birthday on October 23. The shows will be set up for a single day and it would be considered the biggest reissue ever. It was an average grosser film at the box office. Meanwhile, he will next be seen in Kriti with Adipurush and Salaar.
