Tobin Bell Is Officially Set To Return In The Upcoming Film Saw 10!

Bell’s profoundly gloomy and contemplative performance as Jigsaw in Saw helped make him one of the genre’s most recognizable movie villains. John Kramer is a former civil engineer terminally ill due to a brain tumor brought on by his colon cancer.

John Kramer gains a new appreciation for life after attempting suicide and devises a perverse means of giving others the same epiphany. He creates intricate games based on their supposed transgressions to punish his victims for lacking moral fiber.

After Saw 3, Jigsaw met his end; subsequent films feature him only in flashback. Tobin Bell’s return as Jigsaw has been confirmed by Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures for the second Saw film, which is scheduled for release in 2019.

Following Tobin Bell’s absence from the sole spin-off picture, Spiral, in which the titular character does not appear, Tobin Bell will make his way back into the fold. Saw Kevin Greutert, a franchise veteran, will direct ten.

Tobin Bell has previously required Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter, editing the first five films in the series and helming Jigsaw Tobin Bell suggesting that the famous character will play a vital role in the new installment.

The Possible Implications Of The Return Of The Original Jigsaw

John Kramer is a fascinating protagonist for a horror film because, despite his horrible deeds, his acts stem from a tragic and human place. Jigsaw never kills anyone, and if his victims die as a result of their own reckless or rash decisions, it’s their fault, according to his warped thinking.

Instead of going on a random killing spree like other slasher movie villains, Jigsaw has a plan that usually only becomes clear after a victim has fallen prey to his traps. Fans of the series are excited to see him return in a more prominent capacity.

Because his character is integral to the film’s impact and messaging. The initial Saw film’s impact came from its mystery and the darkness surrounding the Jigsaw killer rather than the over-the-top gore that succeeding films in the franchise characterized better.

Fans of the Saw films, waiting for a decent sequel for over a decade, will likely welcome Bell’s return with open arms. Saw 10 is set to begin filming later this month, with a release date of October 27, 2023. It will have all-new horrifying traps and games.

Tobin Bell Will Return To Kill In His Role As Saw’s John Kramer

You may have thought you had seen the last of Tobin Bell in Saw, but you would have been wrong. According to Deadline, Jigsaw (aka John Kramer), the serial murderer played by the film’s most recognizable actor, is returning for another movie.

Spiral, released in 2021, was the first Saw film not to star Bell. Thus, this announcement is timely. Jigsaw appeared in subsequent films through flashbacks after his death in Saw III, up until Spiral.

Longtime Saw director Darren Lynn Bousman said at the time that including Jigsaw in the new tale would be “a disservice” to fans of the franchise. Bell will reteam with Kevin Greutert, who directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter.

Edited many of the films in the franchise, for the future feature, which has been given the working title Saw X.

Conclusion

When news of a new Saw movie was announced, Koules gave audiences a taste of what they could anticipate. One way to accomplish this is to entrust the film’s direction to Kevin Greutert, who previously helmed Saw VI, which is widely considered the best installment in the series.

Kevin Great, who edited the first five Saw movies and Jigsaw, will take the helm for Saw 10. Saw VI and Saw 7: The Final Chapter was also under his direction. The story’s specifics are currently being kept under wraps until production begins.

But Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have promised that there will be “all-new twisted, cunning traps and a new mystery to uncover.” By bringing Bell on board, producers hope to give viewers what they like while giving them something new to enjoy.

For the time being, no other cast members have been announced.
